Supporting Enriching Entertainment to inspire civic engagement and strengthen democracy

Inform, Connect, and Empower Communities. Strengthen Democracy

Live Events Are the Most Powerful Driver of Real Human Connection and Belonging

Massive and Growing Sector

The craving for real-world experiences has never been stronger. Live events in the US are projected to grow from $466B in 2025 to over $650B by 2032.

Highly Fragmented Ecosystem

Nearly 100,000 small event businesses exist in the U.S., with the vast majority generating less than $5M in annual revenue.

Underserved Middle Market

Impactful event businesses lack capital and operational efficiency. It's difficult to scale while remaining anchored in community life.

Great Event Producers Need
Support To Build Great Businesses

Encore Entertainment Group is an operating platform that makes it possible for independent event businesses to scale sustainably. Encore invests in founder-led companies, and partners as a long term operator. In addition to growth capital, Encore provides strategic support and shared business infrastructure, like technology, ticketing, and back-office services from finance to HR.

So founders can focus on what they do best.

Encore Entertainment Group helps scale independent event businesses that inform, connect, and empower our communities.

By expanding access to Enriching Entertainment, we inspire civic engagement and strengthen democracy across the United States.

Enriching Entertainment

Audience at a live enriching entertainment event

Our focus is Enriching Entertainment. This includes lectures and storytelling, live podcasts and interviews, discussion groups and debates, workshops and other interactive learning formats.

Our first job is simply defining this new experience category. These are live, social, events with knowledge and dialogue at the center. This type of entertainment is more important and more popular than ever, yet it continues to live on the margins of our mass culture. We believe everyone should have access to Enriching Entertainment, so we are growing an ecosystem to support these intimate experiences.

We partner with event production, promotion, and management companies. We seek out unique event concepts and series with demonstrated audience demand and practical paths for growth.
